ArcanumAlive

I’m looking for a web designer to makeover ArcanumAlive website, which I’m preparing for 1 year ArcanumAlive anniversary. You should know XHTML, CSS, and Adobe Photoshop (or any other image editing tool). You may use some opensource website template as base for new design, but final look should be in Arcanum/Steampunk style. After new design gets finished, I will integrate that into ArcanumAlive website.

I’ve wrote a small tutorial for adding speech to dialogs in Arcanum, now you can test your voice acting directly in game!

To help to those who wants to help us with voice acting, I’ve made a tool that will make that a lot easier.

Do you think that you can voice act? plus you think that your voice unique in some way? if yes, so why not to try some voice acting?

Your voice could be given to any character in Arcanum, its up to you who you choose, it may be NPC without voice or you might re-speech Virgil’s voice for example.

If you are interested, please visit our forums, and tell us shortly something about you and character you want to voice act.
We will have a small talk about about our and your imagination, plus we will help you with choosing tools you recording your voice, editing and releasing.

After you record small voice demo, of selected sentence from game, and we both agree thats what we wanted, we will give you futher instructions…

Finally, after you record all texts for given character, we will convert your recordings to mod/addon for Arcanum, and it will be released at ArcanumAlive website.

PS: You need only to own a fine microphone, thats all

A three days ago, I’ve started learning modeling, and here is result, my attempt to remodel automaton from Arcanum.

The main reason why I did started this is that we need to recreate most of original Arcanum content for OpenArcanum, including models, sounds and speech.
