today I've made another logo, and I think that it might be also suitable as splashscreen...



What do you think? I've tried to combine technology/magic, but I dont know if its not too much abstract right now...

Or maybe something like this?

Of the two, I prefer the first one.
But then, my color tastes are a bit on the conservative side...

heh, I dont like both of them, all of them are pretty lame lets be honest...

Personal opinion: That honeycomb lattice is a bit too modern for the steampunk setting of Arcanum.
Removing it from the lettering and hub was definately a step in the right direction.
Might I suggest a wrapped wire or cable to replace the remaining lattice? Or even riveted iron.
Keep the red-hot look though.

I see, it really looks kinda modern, like a carbon or something like that... wire or cable? sounds good, I will try... or maybe, what about crystall ball or globe? instead of that ring

I dont know, it always looks good in my imagination, and when I start making it, ideas disappers... so I really hope that somebody in near future develops a brain chip that allows taking a screenshots of memory

Crystal ball or globe: That has some serious potential.
Have the ball shimmer with magical energy and the gear/lettering look like it might explode out of it at any moment.... Ooooo....
